On June 19, John and Mary Lou McEwan were ordered by the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office to vacate short-term renters from their property at 9319 Ludgate Drive in Alexandria within 14 days and to permanently cease the use of the dwelling for transient occupancy, unless and until they obtained Board of Supervisors’ approval of a special exception for a bed and breakfast use.
