Mclean High placed second in Class VI at the 16th Annual Showcase of the Bands Saturday at Herndon High. Their repertoire is from John Mackey’s concerto for trombone, ‘Harvest,’ which was adapted by Mclean’s band director, Chris Weise for the marching band. This is Mclean’s first year competing in Class VI.
