Carrie Fuentes’  5th graders at Floris Elementary and at Union Mill Elementary decided to participate in a "Piece of Peace" Project, a proposition to recognize Pocahontas as our first Universal Peace Ambassador. The creative arts initiative called A Piece Of Peace (APOP) involves a group of people creating a work of art centered on PEACE, thus each artist becomes a piece of peace. The two pieces of Artwork were a collaboration between all of the students in each class.
